You create an always-on assistant (its name, personality, purpose, AI model and channels) and Diali runs it for you on isolated, encrypted infrastructure hosted in Belgium (EU). The assistant lives inside the messaging apps you already use: WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Mattermost and Matrix, plus SMS and phone calls. No code, no servers, no DevOps. Last updated: 2026-09-26. Prices and availability below were checked on that date against the live catalog; the pricing page renders from the same catalog and is the source of truth. Who it is for: individuals who want a capable, always-available personal AI assistant without managing any of the technical plumbing. Accounts are for a single person (no teams, shared seats or admin roles in the current version), and one account can run any number of assistants, each with its own subscription. What every plan includes (the tiers differ only by workspace size, included AI credits and how often the assistant checks in on its own): - Two assistant engines, chosen per assistant. OpenClaw connects to your messaging channels and gets on with tasks by itself; it is the engine that places phone calls and can operate your own devices. Hermes is the conversational daily driver, built around memory and proactive help, with optional browser chat dashboards. Both take community skills, both reach the same six chat apps and SMS, and you can run one of each. - Messaging channels with guided setup: Telegram, WhatsApp (QR or Business), Discord, Slack, Mattermost and Matrix. Phone calls (OpenClaw) run on your own Twilio, Telnyx or Plivo account, and SMS (both engines) on your own Twilio number, under your agreement with that provider. Signal, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat and iMessage are listed as coming soon. You choose who is allowed to message your assistant. - Managed AI or bring your own key. Every plan includes a monthly balance of Diali AI credits spent across 15 managed models, so no AI-provider account is needed and you can top up any time. Or connect your own key from any of ten providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Mistral, Groq, xAI, Perplexity and self-hosted Ollama) and that provider bills you directly while Diali charges hosting alone. Keys are encrypted (AES-256) in Google Secret Manager and the running assistant only ever holds a temporary stand-in token. Spend is shown per assistant and per model. - Skills from a community catalog of 75,000+ skills. Each skill shows ClawHub's security review where one exists (a verdict, a plain-language summary of what it does and the date it was checked) before you install it, and says so when it has not been reviewed yet. Skills run inside the assistant's own sandbox. - Integrations and MCP servers: connect email, calendars, docs, chat and other tools, add any of 300+ preconfigured MCP servers in one click, or bring your own MCP server. Credentials are stored once for your account and granted per assistant. - Web browsing, and web search out of the box: a free built-in search provider with limited capacity, or ten search providers you can connect for higher volume. - Voice notes in and out on chat channels: the assistant transcribes the voice notes people send and replies with spoken ones. A free built-in voice and transcription work with no key, and 15+ speech providers can be connected instead. - A computer of its own: the Computer add-on gives an OpenClaw or Hermes assistant a private Linux desktop with a real browser and desktop apps it can see and drive. - Your own devices (OpenClaw): pair a laptop, desktop or server you own so the assistant can click, type, use your signed-in browser and run installed apps on it. You see what it can do and approve it before it acts, and your machine dials out, so no VPN or port forwarding. - Assistants that work together: pair two assistants so they can message each other and ask for help, with the whole exchange readable from your dashboard. You can also connect an outside agent over the Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol with a token you mint in the dashboard. - A real command line: every assistant runs on a sandboxed machine with 250+ preinstalled command-line tools (AI, shell, Git, build, cloud, containers, data, security, media and networking). - Dashboard chat: talk to any assistant from the browser as well as from your chat apps, with voice input, pictures and files, and approve or deny a tool call from the chat when the assistant asks first. - Automations: reviewed, ready-made routines you install on an assistant from the dashboard, such as a scheduled briefing or a watcher, which then run on their own schedule and can be paused, resumed or run now. - Persistent memory, a custom personality with presets, and a dashboard with an activity feed, usage and spend tracking, two-factor authentication and session control. - Updates and controls: each OpenClaw or Hermes release is tested on Diali's own assistants first, then rolled out; your assistant restarts briefly and its configuration, channels and keys carry across. Update with undo, pause, restart and reinstall from the dashboard (a reinstall rebuilds the assistant from its setup but wipes its memory and conversation history). - Backups: daily snapshots with 30 days of history, on-demand backups and one-click restore. Included with the Max plan, a paid add-on on Starter and Pro. Security and privacy, as described on the security page: - Each assistant runs alone in its own gVisor kernel-level sandbox with its own namespace, service account and network policy: no public ports, and outbound access to the public web only, never to Diali's internal network, the cloud metadata server or other tenants. - Hosted in Belgium (EU), on Google Cloud in europe-west1 (St. Ghislain). Some service providers (payments, email, error monitoring, managed AI) are based in or transfer data to the US; the Privacy Policy lists them. Data is encrypted at rest with keys Diali manages in Google Cloud KMS and in transit with TLS. - Diali does not read your conversations or use them to train models, and does not sell your data. Messages in your messaging apps are not stored by Diali. Conversations you hold in the dashboard chat, and messages between your assistants, are stored so you can see your history across devices: deleting a thread hides it from your history, and deleting the assistant or your account erases them. Deleting an assistant or your account also destroys its workload, storage and secrets, and you can export an assistant's data and memory. - Passwords are stored as argon2id hashes. Sign in with email and password, or with Google, GitHub or GitLab. Assistants identify themselves as AI to the people they message or call. Pricing and billing (per assistant, in USD, taxes excluded): - Starter $29.99 a month, Pro $69.99 a month, Max $149.99 a month.
